Only a year ago, Tesco announced that it would be launching a new organic and fair trade clothing range from top
designer and avid eco campaigner Katherine Hamnett. The Choose Love range seemed a great way to bring ethical
clothing to a wider audience at an affordable price.
Unfortunately however, a year later, the partnership has come to an abrupt end. Katherine has pulled out of the deal commenting
that “[Tesco] simply wants to appear ethical, rather than make a full commitment to the range.”

Are Tesco's really taking green issues seriously, or are they just trying to get a more eco-friendly image? We hope they
can be persuaded to really invest in improving their ethical and environmental status, as such a behemoth could make far-reaching changes that smaller companies like
ourselves could only dream of...
