Suki Kramer
Suki natural skin care range is the creation of Suki Kramer, born out of her love of high-end personal care products combined with a lack of suitable products available for her sensitive skin.
Suki grew up with severe eczema and tried numerous remedies to no avail, finding many of the products actually worsened her condition.
Bit by bit she learned about the products and what they contained and became ever more reluctant to use anything with any questionable or toxic ingredients.
And so, driven by her own needs and dreams - her desire for a line of sophisticated products that were sensual, aromatic, and completely clean and a wish to do something that made a difference – the concept of Suki skincare was born.
100% natural
Suki studied mainstream formulations and new ingredients, worked with chemists, herbalists and scientists and looked at alternative therapies and some of the "natural" lines out there in her quest to become educated.
Frustrated with the lack of 100% natural products and honest information, Suki was motivated not only to bring something totally different to market, but to inform her peers as well. And, as she developed her stunning range of products, her skin radically improved.
She continues to develop solutions that combine the best botanical remedies with scientific innovation, leaving out all synthetics. And to search for new information to provide her customers with, helping them demand the very best for themselves and their families.
About the company
The company sources from fair trade, organic, biodynamic processing and local whenever possible, considering fuel emissions, as well as their certification, and travel when choosing suppliers. The ingredients must be 100% natural and food grade, not cosmetic grade ingredients so that the products are non-toxic and edible (not that they would taste good...).
They choose to use only biodegradable ingredients that do not hurt the eco-system or animals in the long run, rather than toxic ingredients like petrochemicals, fragrances and preservative systems used in many ‘vegan’ personal care products.
Suki never test on animals and make each of their suppliers sign a waiver saying that they do not either.
Eco-friendly packaging
The packing uses recycled stock printed with vegetable ink.
The boxes are not UV coated so that they can be recycled. The glass packaging ensures not only a sophisticated, sensual experience, but a healthier planet.
Suki is against the use of plastics and avoids this toxic material whenever possible.
The company also reuses the packaging they receive from suppliers.
Non toxic ingredients
Suki are passionate about pure, natural skin care and so none of the following are ever found in their products: Aluminium or ammonium ingredients, benzoates, benzyl alcohol, colorants, DEA, DMAE, formaldehyde, synthetic fragrance, imidazalidol urea, laureth family, parabens, PEG, petroleum, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, propylene glycol, talc.
Pure skin care
The result is an ever-expanding line of pure, holistic, effective and gentle formulas made for all skin conditions but with sensitive types in mind. And all 100% natural!
