We are all trying to reduce our impact on the planet and we hope by promoting companies that are making concerted efforts to provide products that fulfil this aim, you can be better placed to choose what you buy.
All our suppliers are ‘green’
To some degree, all our suppliers are environmentally friendly in that they are producing natural and organic products which are far less damaging than the vast majority of beauty products on the market.
However, we also looking for those who make the next step towards sustainability. We give products an eco-friendly accreditation when the companies are going the extra mile to reduce their environmental footprint and make sustainable products.
For example, offsetting their carbon emissions, using recycled and recyclable packaging materials, careful sourcing of ingredients such as wildcrafting to minimise environmental impact and producing rapidly biodegradable products.
Our role
Here at How on Earth we are also trying our very best to minimise any negative impact on the earth.
We offset all the carbon emissions produced from our sites, always buy recycled or
FSC certified paper and packaging products,
recycle or reuse the packaging received from our suppliers, minimise car and plane journeys by our staff and
of course choose suppliers who are actively doing their best to produce products in a environmentally and sustainable way.
