Description

One in four women over the age of 35 have experienced bladder weakness. There is now a natural, effective, eco-friendly pad these women can rely on - soft and discreet, Natracare Dry and Light pads are the first of their kind.

The pads are made from natural cellulose materials derived from ecologically managed forests. They are over 99 per cent biodegradable and compostable, being the first pads to be made using plant-based bio-plastics. They are also free from petroleum-derived super absorbents and plastics found in many other products.

Natracare’s Dry and Light pads provide the natural choice for women – helping them avoid the synthetic materials, skin irritants and chemicals, which are present in so many conventional products.

About Natracare

Natracare are committed to offering organic and natural solutions for personal health care that leave a soft footprint on the earth. For all of their feminine hygiene and baby care products, they use only natural materials that meet their high environmental and biodegradable standards, sourced from producers that manage and monitor resources.

Natracare pads and liners are made from totally chlorine-free, natural cellulose materials derived from ecologically-managed forests and are over 95% biodegradable and compostable. Natracare is first to use the new biodegradable Bioplastics that are made from starch and hypoallergenic natural and effective sugar-based absorbents, to replace commonly used, petroleum-derived synthetic materials.

Most women are aware that flushing sanitary pads results in the contamination of our oceans, rivers, and many are prepared to dispose of their pads along with the domestic waste which is either incinerated or buried in landfill sites. Incineration is a major cause of pollution worldwide. However, the alternative of burying rubbish in the ground is not much of an improvement because the plastics used in sanitary pads and liners and tampon applicators do not biodegrade at all, and will remain in the environment unchanged for hundreds of years.

For many years, Natracare has done much to lessen the environmental impact of sanitary products by producing a full range of sanitary pads and liners made from biodegradable, totally chlorine-free cellulose and Bioplastics which are biodegradable and compostable under the correct conditions, and are safe for sceptic tanks.
