About John Masters Organics
John Masters is a pioneer in toxin-free hair care, creating a unique 'clean-air' salon in Soho, New York over a decade ago. The range is one of the cleanest organic hair care ranges available and won the Soil Association award for Best Organic Product Line in Europe in 2004.
John Masters believes that caring about yourself and caring about the earth don't have to be mutually exclusive. We only get one body, and we only get one planet. Why not treat them both with the utmost care? The result is the culmination of the hard work performed by people all over the world. None of the following are ever present in any John Masters products: SLS, parabens, DEAs, MEAs, TEAs, GM ingredients, petrochemical derivatives, artificial colours or fragrances.
He also make the following promises about his products: No animal testing, the ingredients must be as organic as possible, all essential oils must be steam-distilled and all plant oils must be cold pressed to maintain the beneficial properties of both, all ingredients must be proven to be beneficial to the hair or skin, must be harvested in an environmentally-friendly manner, be as biodegradable as possible and be from fair trade sources whenever available.
