Organic to the core, the company goes a step further by using its home-grown biodynamic ingredients. Biodynamic not only excludes the pesticides and chemical fertilisers in the same way that organic agriculture does, but also works in harmony with the seasons and planets to get the most out of every plant.

Weleda has a 15 acre garden in Derbyshire which grows many of their raw ingredients. It was developed in association with the local Wildlife Trust to encourage biodiversity. With this and everything else they do, Weleda are a true eco company, developing sustainable relationships, methods of farming and production to minimise their environmental impact.
